The game actually releases this month (stay tuned for our review), but ahead of said release, THQ and Vigil have revealed that Darksiders II will also offer a few extras to keep you glued beyond the main adventure (which we've been told should clock in at around 30-odd hours of play time).

Namely, a New Game Plus option, which will allow you to play through the campaign again, only retaining your upgrades, gear and level and an Arena mode called "Crucible" are on offer, with Crucible rewarding persistent players who can make it through to wave 100 "the greatest prizes" in the game (read: Legendary Loot).

We'll have a lot more on Darksiders II for you soon, so stay tuned.
