As the release date draws ever-closer for High Moon Studios' Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, publisher Activision has released a bonanza of 32 new screenshots for the upcoming sequel.

Accompanying the multiplayer character customisation trailer we saw on Gamespot, this big new batch of in-game stills shows various scenes from both the game's single-player and multiplayer modes, as well as the "Escalation" horde type co-operative game mode, and a closer look the character creation menu options.

Hit the thumbs below for the full gallery. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Australia on August 22nd 2012.
