It seems EA have inadvertently confirmed Battlefield 4 today, with a new pre-order offer appearing on the digital store Origin for the upcoming shooter, Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
While details are slim on the Battlefield 4 offering, anyone who is able to view the US version of Origin is
greeted with a large pre-order slogan touting beta access to the next in Battlefield series, plus a few other DLC items.
Pre-order Medal of Honor Warfighter Digital Deluxe on Origin and get the following:
U.S. Seal Team Sniper /TAC 300 - SEAL Snipers are universally feared for their innate ability to stalk, target and then peal apart the enemy from extreme distances while in total concealment.
British SAS Spec Ops (Pre-Order Bonus)
The SAS have served as the model for modern Special Operations around the world and have been operating in covert, low visibility roles in non-permissive environments for decades.
Russian Spetsnaz Alfa Group Heavy Gunner (Digital Deluxe Content)
The Spetsnaz utilize and employ heavy weaponry more often than most Special Operations units.
Digital Game Soundtrack
With rumours in the past few months about a Battlefield 4 in the works, it isn't a surprise to see the beta being touted as a pre-order bonus when previously the Medal of Honor reboot had its beta access offered as pre-order material for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be available 25th October this year on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

I don't really see the point of rumours for franchises like this.
The probability of a BF4 or COD N+1 coming out are around 100%.

Oh, why be naive, they're doing it for the money aren't they?

Get ready for lots of BF titles in succession. All being the same.

Personally I was hoping they'd do BC3 next. With how BF3 turned out, I just don't see cross platform with current gen consoles being capable of delivering a proper modern BF game. They can do BC games well cross platform. That in FB2 would be sweet. BF3 didn't capture what made BF2 or BC2 great fun.
Things they need, bigger maps, better map design. Less redundancy in maps and modes. Better destruction.
I assume it'll have to be some what different. Or else why wouldn't they just keep up Premium for another year or more?
There's also the dreaded possibility this will be the suggested subscription or micro transaction version. As the EA boss wants to charge people to re-load.
