Fan site Valvetime -- who are generally quite credible with such things -- are claiming to have unearthed a few pieces of early concept art from Valve Software's incredibly long-awaited, and much anticipated, Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
The images aren't anything super exciting, and are purported to be from back in 2008 (so may not even be relevant to the game's current appearance and themes) but it's been a long time since we've heard anything Half-Life related, so we'll take what we can get.
The artwork mostly consists of character art, prominently featuring Alyx wearing different hats (Valve can't get enough of that headwear), but does suggest a heavy focus on arctic environments as well as the alien landscapes of Xen.
The Valvetime guys have put together the below video offering their own analysis of the artwork, or you can take a closer look at each image over on their Facebook page.
I am pretty confident that with HL3 we will get a game so good that it will have a heavy influence on all games released after it for like a decade. Take your time boys.
