Retailers have once again preemptively revealed a game not yet formally announced by it's publisher, as listings for Call of Duty: Black Ops - Declassified for PlayStation Vita have appeared on both Amazon and Walmart's online stores.

During they E3 press conference, Sony did make brief mention that Call of Duty would be coming to the Vita soon, but neglected to show or even mention any details about the game. From these new retailer listings, we can now expect that Declassified will differ in content from the home console and PC versions of Black Ops II:
Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.
Both stores currently list placeholder release dates December 31st, suggesting that the Vita game intends to launch in 2012, but has yet to get more specific.

The PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II is due on November 13th 2012.
