The HD remastering of Doom III for the current-generation is done and dusted and Aussies and Kiwis are going to be seeing the game hit retail on October 18 later this year.
Re-mastered for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, DOOM 3 and its expansion pack offer enhanced visuals further immersing you in the demonic world like never before. DOOM 3, Resurrection of Evil, and ‘The Lost Mission’ have been optimised in 3D, featuring 5.1 surround sound, Xbox 360 Achievements, PlayStation 3 trophies, improved rendering and lighting, and a new check point save system allowing for smoother progression through the game.
There's currently no word on pricing, but hopefully we're not paying through the nose for a classic title, remastered or not. We'll get you more info as soon as it becomes available.

$40 for console and $30 for PC in the US, so a question of how much the markup will be in AUS.
