Beenox has today released a new trailer showcasing the very essence a Spider-Man themed game needs, free roaming. With the ability to go wherever you please as the spandex wearing superhero, the game offers a variety of freedom including the choices you make in saving peoples lives or completing missions a vital role in the entire game.
With a story that takes players through many areas all over (and under) Manhattan, fans will feel what it’s truly like to be a Super Hero, as they experience the cinematic adrenaline rush of web-swinging through the city and fighting crime using Spider-Man’s spectacular acrobatic moves and attacks.
You can check out the trailer below with executive producer Brent Nicholas giving you a run down on just how much you can do in this web slinging title

The Amazing Spider-Man is due on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS 27th of June.

Very cool tech, though the combat and combat xp is straight out of Arkham - anybody know if it is the same dev?

Looks pretty good but I am still waiting for a Spider-Man game with realistic web swinging. It looks like he still just shoots them in to thin air in this one.

I have to admit, spiderman games are always great fun.. just the ability to zip around, and now with the extra ability to use lightpoles and run on buses etc. very cool.

I didn't know who made Batman rav :P. Ty Mord.

Seems like a huge ripoff in that regard, but eh. I guess the first fable had combat xp as well, and probably others before it.

Does anybody know if this will be coming to PC? This actually looks like it could be quite fun.

Not sure if Wiki is the best source to trust, but according to it there will be a PC port later this year.

Holy f***, being able to mini-pause and select where you want to run to and use lightpoles, busses and walls is so f*****g cool. This is looking like a buy for me! Spider-Man 2 style ftw

looks like any other spiderman game.

Can't wait for the reviews which will be like every other spiderman game review "while web swinging around New York is fun the indoor fights let the game down"

Rocksteady really need to make a different superhero game. I have a feeling they could do a Superman or Spider-Man game perfectly.

Very much doubt a Marvel game would come out of Rocksteady, since they're owned by Time Warner now (same people who own DC).

But yeah, I'd love to see them tackle some other DC properties and make an awesome Flash or Superman or Green Lantern game.

Looks pretty cool. I have a bit of a backlog at the moment though, so I think I'll wait for the PC port (assuming the game is worth getting at all).
