Nintendo has today announced that details about their upcoming next-gen console, the Wii U, will be broadcast through a pre-E3 2012 show on their main website. The conference is apparently going to be pre-recorded footage, so expect some juicy technical details.

The conference will begin tomorrow at 8am AEST, which you can find over here. While no one knows what is specifically going to be talked about, many are hoping for details about what is exactly inside the Wii U and hopefully a solid launch price.

Make sure you keep your eyes on AusGamers as E3 2012 kicks off, where you'll find all the latest info from our team on site.

"Wii U" is an even stupider name than just "Wii"

That as pretty cool info. The controller functionality looks very good, and damn the pro controller too!

Yeah that is a really sweet controller layout. I'm finding it funny listening to some of the hate saying they ripped off Xbox controllers, when in fact Xbox ripped off GameCube controllers.
