Stainless Games today announced that the original classic "points for pedestrians" driving game Carmageddon will be coming to iOS and Android devices. As a way of saying thank you to all Kickstarter backers for Carmageddon: Reincarnation, Stainless Games has also announced that the iOS version of Carmageddon will available for free within the first 24 hours of launch.
The game is a conversion of the original Carmageddon PC game, with improved game engine and graphics. Fully optimized for mobile devices, Carmageddon features include:
  • A wide selection of touch control methods.
  • Intuitive gesture system allowing repair and recovery of the player vehicle in game.
  • Action Replay allowing players to save a movie and upload it to YouTube.
  • Game Center integration on iOS.
  • Check out the announcement trailer below, and make sure you keep your eyes peeled on Apple Store and Play Store this winter for the car smashing hit.

If it has controller support i'll probably support them. That's the same deal i put with GTA3, and it did. So i bought it.

Awesome game, I've got great memories playing with my mate over a LAN. Plus it also got me in to Fear Factory so it's win all round.
