Last month Activision announced that Eurocom, the UK studio behind the recent Goldeneye remakes would be giving the first person shooter treatment to some more classic James Bond films with 007 Legends. Today they have released the first trailer for the game, showing off some 007 gameplay and confirming that one of the six classic films to be explored will be the campy 1979 Roger Moore outing, Moonraker.
A first-of-its-kind Bond video game, 007 Legends features an original, overarching storyline tying together six classic Bond movies, concluding with this year's highly-anticipated 23rd installment — SKYFALL — to offer the most diverse Bond gaming experience yet! As with the feature films, 007 Legends equips players with state-of-the-art spy gadgets, an arsenal of weapons, including Bond's signature Walther PPK, and sleek vehicles as they jet off to exotic locations and utilize Bond's quick wits, class and style to take down notorious villains and their brutal henchmen, perform impressive stunts, and of course...mingle with gorgeous Bond women.
The trailer also confirms an October 16th launch date for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Check it out below or click here for the HD video page.

I'm such a sucker for anything James Bond and outside of Rare, Eurocom are the only other developer who's been able to make a decent Bond FPS, so I'm pretty interested in this

Looks pretty awesome.
I have to wonder what was going through their heads when they passed on the chance to make some of the classic Connery Bond flicks into a game and settled on the dodgy Moonraker lol.

Edit: Oops, reading comprehension fail. 6 Bond flicks in one game, not 6 games with one Bond flick each. There's a chance yet!

I've learnt not to get over excited about bond games just because Goldeneye was one of the best games ever made 16 years ago

Even CoD has better graphics than this. F***, I thought we were finally getting past having to criticize graphics and then games like this pop in from obscurity.
