DICE Announces First Battlefield 3 Double XP Weekend

For those players still enjoying the explosive combat of the hit FPS Battlefield 3, DICE has today announced the first of many Double XP Weekends. Starting at 5:01pm AEST tonight and finishing up on Monday at 4:59pm AEST, all players will earn double XP in matches across all maps and modes.
During the Battlefield 3 Double XP Weekend players will continue to wage all-out-war in Battlefield 3 multiplayer. At the conclusion of each match, players total points for the round will be reflected in the end of round screen and classified as ‘ADDITIONAL POINT”. Double XP will be accrued across all ranked servers and matches.
So if you're in need of some extra ranks or a little push to get that new gun, make sure you jump into the warfare tonight for free double XP.

Heh, I was playing with Fraktured last night by random chance, stabbed him once just before the round ended. Shane there wasn't double xp, would of gotten 30,000+ that round

Man, I was having a really good round, then some prick on the other team set up on top of the building at G, and because of some dodgy f*****g bug I could see him, but I couldn't hit him. :(

this doesnt make sense, most people would have all unlocks by now, it would have come in handy several months ago, points dont mean s*** once you have unlocks.
