Valve has revealed details for the second annual DOTA 2 Championships, The International 2012, which will this year take place during PAX Prime at Benaroya Hall in Seattle, WA from August 31 to September 2.

Last year The International took place in Cologne, Germany during the annual GamesCom event with a grand prize of $1 million up for grabs in a double elimination playoff tourny. Valve hasn't mentioned at all if this format will change, or its $1 million reward, so it looks like it'll be business as usual.

Once again the event will also be broadcast on a global scale in multiple languages, and free of charge. We'll have more details for you close to the event, so stay tuned.
