According to Eurogamer, South African online retailer BTGames has been caught out today with pre-order listings of two allegedly unannounced games from publisher Electronic Arts -- Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2 and Dead Space 3. Apparently it's not the first time either, as the same site was previously reported to have inadvertently revealed the existence of Sony's Jak & Daxter HD Collection prior to its official announcement.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2 is suspected as being in the works at Burnout and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit developer Criterion, whom last we heard, were hiring for an open world racer mid last year.

Dead Space 3 has been a slightly worse-kept secret, having been hinted at several times already, with even some purported plot details making their way out last October.

Assuming there's credence to the accidental retailer listing, both games are probably still quite a ways off, but then again, EA did only announce the equally heavily-rumoured Syndicate five months before that hit shelves.

The rumours surrounding the setting and gameplay concept for Dead Space 3 gets me all hot under the collar. If they weren't planning on it at all, I hope they've taken into account how many people are excited by the prospect :)
