Ok, just one more bit of CD Projekt and GOG.com news for the day, we promise. In case they hadn't earned enough goodwill yet, The Witcher 2 and it's upcoming Enhanced Edition release on PC and Xbox 360 was a central focus of the developer's Spring Conference event.
If you want to catch the whole one-hour presentation, we have the complete video online locally now for your streaming pleasure, however, there's The Witcher 2 related points of note:
A comic set in The Witcher universe and developed especially for iOS platforms was announced -- including interactive scenes where you can guide the hero's decisions of combat and debauchery.
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is now available for Mac, exclusively on Steam (GOG doesn't support Mac yet unfortunately).
GOG is hosting a "write your own review" program, where they will giveaway 1000 free copies of the upcoming Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition.
All current owners of The Witcher 2 on PC -- whether you purchased the game from GOG or not -- will all now be able to obtain, for free, a "complimentary DRM-free backup copy of the game" from GOG.com.
Everyone that has purchased the PC version of The Witcher 2 will be able to commence pre-loading the upcoming Enhanced Edition content ahead of the April 17th release.
If this sounds as ridiculous generous to you as it does to us and you haven't picked up this game yet, head over to GOG.com now.
