Alan Wake developer, Remedy, is gearing up for the next-generation of consoles it would seem, after a shout out on their official site called for "world-class talent to work on an unannounced project targeted at future generation consoles".

"More than 20 new positions will become available within the next few months," the post continued. "The first batch of positions will go live as soon as Friday 30th of March."

Rumours and speculation continue to point to an official follow-up to Alan Wake, and they've been working on new facial animation tech they've claimed in the past would surpass that of Team Bondi's L.A. Noire. Time will tell though.

Would you like to see them continue the Alan Wake saga for the next-gen, or work on something entirely new?

I don't see how the next Alan Wake or whatever if it's a similar story would benefit from facial animation technology. The tech fits in well with the LA Noire detective character as decisions made by reading body language is part of the game. How does Alan Wake need to interpret if a dark presence is telling porkiy pies before just blasting the f*** out of them point blank with a flare gun?

Because theres a lot of story bits that would look awesome with it? There doesn't need to be a gameplay purpose for it, it'd just make things look more awesome and thats always good
