Following in the footsteps of the announcement
that PlayStation 3 players will be getting the first two content drops soon, Activision have also sent word that Xbox 360 players will be in for a treat as well.
Coming in late March on Xbox Live, Modern Warfare 3's first Content Collection will be available to purchase for all Call of Duty: MW3 players, not just Elite Members. This will include four brand new multiplayer maps Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box along with new Special Ops Missions Black Ice and Negotiator, marking the first time Special Ops has been made downloadable online in the series.
In “Black Box,” players will battle beside a downed Air Force One amidst multi-level homes overlooking the luxurious Southern California neighbourhood.
Infiltrating a diamond mine aboard a snowmobile in the Special Ops mission “Black Ice,” your primary objective is to plant high-grade explosives in order to shut the mine down forever.
In “Negotiator,” you head to India for high-stakes hostage extraction in which you’ll breach-and-clear rooms and navigate surface streets to ensure the safety of your VIPs.
As well as the Content Collection becoming available soon, Call of Duty Elite Premium Members on Xbox LIVE will be able to get Content Drops 4-6 early, which feature Black Box, Negotiator and Black Ice.
If that has you confused, then hopefully this will clear things up. The Content Collection will be available March 20th, 2012 on Xbox Live for all
Call of Duty: MW3 players, while the Content Drops 4-6 will be available earlier for Call of Duty Elite Premium members, on March 13th 2012.
