Humble Bundle is a charity-based system that gives you, the consumer, a chance to nab five awesome games as part of a bundle, where you also name your purchase price. If you pay more than the current average as at the time of buying, you also get two extra games thrown in for good measure.
We're ready to drop seven new cross-platform, DRM-free games down your digital chimney. Bandage your fingertips and prepare your mind for the challenges of Super Meat Boy, Shank, Jamestown, Bit.Trip Runner, and NightSky. If you pay more than the average price, you'll also get two massive, well-loved indie favorites: Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles.
We have a video showing off just how it all works thanks to the guys behind the initiative embedded below (it's sort of funny in a cheesy, nerdy kinda way).
i thought cave story was sweet as too, got a bit metroidvania-like after a while. bit trip runner was great to finish but never could perfect one of those retro bonus levels... haha.

There's also the current Indie Royale bundle. There's no charity angle involved, just cheap games: http://www.indieroyale.com/
