While it might seem odd for Nintendo to break tradition and actually enumerate one of their long-running franchises, we look at it more as a stamp of authority.

Yes there have been many Kart Racing games over the years, but there's only one true original, and it happens to be in its lucky seventh iteration.

James "Jickle" O'Connor took up the steering mantle on this one for us; dodging unfair blue-shells to and fro, while trying to work out how to snap those rubber-bands once and for all. Despite all this though, he still walked away happy at what he'd played.
