One of the many new features introduced with the recently released Saints Row: The Third was an online stat tracking services for players to keep track of and share their accumulated exploits in Steelport the game's city of sin. Making good use of this data, THQ have drawn our attention to a few points of note in
this press release, the key observation being that more than 2 million virtual citizens have been bludgeoned to death by the Penetrator -- the game's iconic purple dildo bat.
In total, 5.8 billion citizens of Steelport have met their demise at the hands of gamers around the globe while playing Saints Row: The Third. That’s 259 times the population of Australia, roughly 85 percent of the population of the world, and it’s just the beginning.
Amidst the mayhem, players have spent a cumulative total of two years in their birthday suits streaking the streets of Steelport. In Whored Mode, 44 million pimps, gimps and prostitutes have been dispatched – two for every man woman and child in Australia. Finally, 650 hot dog mascots have been overcooked to death by players using a flamethrower. Nom nom nom.
To celebrate the mathematical insanity of Saints Row: The Third, you can now map your own mayhem with new community tracking features on SaintsRow.com. See how you rank among all Saints Row: The Third players in a number of disturbing categories, and see your actions tracked in real time on the Steelport community map.
