The Battlefield 3 beta has now opened up to everyone!

You can go over to the Origin site to get involved - except that, somewhat unsurprisingly, it is offline as I write this, presumably being hammered by everyone on the Internet.

If you haven't gotten the beta you can still download it now locally from AusGamers; our download page also has links to GameArena, Internode and iiNet/3FL sites for unmetered downloads (if you know any others, feel free to let us know).

Note we are also getting smashed with people trying to download the client; please be patient or try another mirror if you're having problems downloading. And make sure you mention any hassles you have to EA so they know you're struggling to get it!@#
