Starbreeze may have developed two stand-out titles in their time, but both were based on existing licenses (The Darkness, Chronicles of Riddick). Their forthcoming Syndicate reboot with EA obviously is as well, but they've recently made an announcement they're working on something original, finally.

Develop reports that they've teamed up with notable Swedish director, Josef Fares, as well as The Story Lab to produce their new, original game, which we actually know nothing else about.

It's great to see that they're finally taking the plunge into new, uncharted waters because these guys are a seriously talented studio.
