If you're an NFL nerd, and I mean a serious NFL nerd, you're going to love our review of Madden NFL 12. If you're not an NFL nerd, chances are this review will fly right over your head, but will hopefully help you crack a smile anyway.

Andy "Butters" Bulmer is an NFL nerd. In fact he's probably the biggest NFL nerd on the planet and I would argue knows more about the game than most Americans, so obviously we gave him Madden NFL 12 to review.

He took on the task with aplomb and also added a unique spin on his review, channelling his favourite NFL sports writer and his blog to dish up something we think is pretty unique.

Can't say I enjoyed his unique spin on his review... Maybe others did.

In saying that, its hard to make a review on a NFL game interesting so you gotta try something.

Wont be buying EA's recycled junk. The truth is, very little is new in this title and they have recycled a huge amount of previous (rather old) titles.
