Xbox Australia have just announced a new price drop for Xbox 360 and Kinect bundles:
Xbox today announced that it will lower its recommended retail price of Xbox 360 with Kinect bundles in Australia by AUD$50. From tomorrow, September 15, the recommended retail price (RRP) of the 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle and the 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle will be AUD$399 RRP and AUD$499 RRP respectively.

Xbox will also introduce an entry level console to the Australian market retailing at AUD$249 RRP with the standalone 4GB Xbox 360, available for the first time in October. Now it's pointless selling my Xbox arcade as it's probably worthless, not to mention I just paid $200 for a Kinect not even three weeks ago ffs!

Wait, how much did it cost before?

I guess they saw how PS3s sales increased eight-fold (no, I'm not making that figure up) after they recently dropped the price to $349/449.

I paid $299 for a 4Gb Kinect Bundle and $98 for a 250Gb HDD earlier in the year when they were on special at K-Mart and Big W respectively, effectively getting a 250Gb kinect bundle for $400
