Director Dan Trachtenberg -- who some may know from Revision 3's Totally Rad Show -- has now publicly released the Portal-inspired short-film that was debuted a few weeks ago at the San Diego Comic-con.

Titled Portal: No Escape, the 7-minute short stars actor Danielle Rayne presumably as the player-character Chell from Valve Software's Portal games and packs some seriously cool visual effects to bring the game into the live-action world.

We're not sure that the concept of Portal has the legs to turn this into a full-length feature film, but it's certainly a nice little homage if nothing else.
