A few months back Dan was invited out to a special event in the UK which featured Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning from 38 Studios and Big Huge Games which is essentially an amalgalm of the best of the best when it comes to RPGs. His write up was awesome and painfully in-depth (it took me ages to try and find stuff he didn't mention to talk about), but at this year's E3 I sat in on another preview of the game, quite different to the one he was shown, and have compiled my own account, accordingly.

So the basic idea is, if you're even remotely interested in RPGs, or in-depth gaming with utterly satisfying combat, this might be just the game for you.
