Horde or "Survival" modes are quickly becoming the norm in the first-person shooter field, and as such, the biggest name in FPS gaming, currently, would be remiss to not offer it up in some form with their out-of-the-box release.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 then, certainly does ship with new mode as part of the co-op Spec Ops mode we had with Modern Warfare 2, though it's probably best described as Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games' version of Treyarch's Zombies.

Unlike those, however, MW3's offering is slightly more serious and definitely more chaotic. We went hands-on with the mode at E3, which you can read all about right here.
