DOTA 2 GamesCom Bound?

Eurogamer has found a listing for Valve on the official GamesCom website, listing them as an "Exhibitor", and then adding "Strategy" to the description of what they're showing.

Obviously the only game in the Valve stable that even remotely fits the "Strategy" genre is the little-talked-about DOTA 2. Moreover, when I visited Valve earlier in the year, they revealed to us their next showing wouldn't be E3, but more likely GamesCom, adding weight to the idea they'll be showing off the game in proper form since it was initially announced.

ehhh i'll be happier with Dota2's balances and hero selection to be honest with you (presuming they carry across the same heroes from Dota).

considering they hired the creator of dota i don't see why not, hon just ripped it off and gave different names and abilities and got away with it.. So you're going to see all the orig heroes in dota 2

Pretty sure icefrog (the guy who was modifying dota-allstars when i stopped playing) gave his blessings towards LoL.

Lots of people like asking for austrailan servers, and sure, for ping that's good. But for versus, it's a lot more fun to beat up people worldwide than just the locals.

yer he isn't complaining about the mirrors, but valve did hire icefrog to help make dota2. Also aussie MMR wouldn't work the population isn't big enough to support it.. that and you'd get 1950 players and 1500's in the same game because of that.

FYI Icefrog at one point supported HoN as well. Guinsoo worked on LoL if I recall and I believe Eul was contacted about using his heroes in HoN as they were original his concept.

FML I'm not saying ICEFROG WAS LIKE WTF YOU COPIED DOTA. No s*** he supported it since it expands on the genre, what I'm saying is IceFrog with with Valve doing Dota 2. Most of the people playing HoN will probably move onto dota 2 since most came from dota. Those playing LoL might but they're cheap bastards cause LoL is free and noob friendly and they probably prefer that (seriously no denies wtf is that?).
