They say that life imitates art but, more often than not, it seems that art imitates art. Well, not that you’d necessarily call the Fast & Furious films art, but you get the point. The newly unleashed Need for Speed: The Run trailer shows a combination of street racing (duh) and also some new-to-the-franchise on-foot action.

Steve mentioned that these take the form of “third-person action sequences that are essentially interactive quick-time events from scripted sequences” in his summary of the E3 press conference. I haven't played racing games in a long time but is it still normal to have those arrows to cut off the street and tell you to turn in today's racing games? Makes the experience look s*** imo.
