If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This seems to be the mantra that many a publisher applies to their respective series that have regular releases. Take Assassin’s Creed for example. There’s a new game, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, scheduled for release mid-November that continues the story of Ezio; apparently, tying things in more closely with the seemingly abandoned Altaïr from the original game.
“Assassin’s Creed Revelations follows master assassin Ezio Auditore as he walks in the footsteps of his legendary mentor, Altaïr, on a journey to recover five ancient seals that hold the keys to the future of the Assassins brotherhood. It is a perilous path – one that will take Ezio to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where a growing army of Templars threatens to destabilize the region.”
Take a look at the gameplay trailer below and we’ve uploaded some new screenshots to the Revelations game page.

Whilst it looked cool, it was to outlandish that I had no suspension of disbelief any more. Also why must everything be brown

I'm a sucker for these games... even though they started to only make minor changes after Ass Creed 2.

That was a good video, Khel. I'm pretty pumped for this game. I just finished Brotherhood a couple of weeks ago and was really surprised by the quality of it. I expected it to just be like a small expansion pack or something, but it really was a full-blown game with improvements over the last. This is looking to be an awesome end to Ezio's story.

Brotherhood had too much "busywork" pointless s*** that you just did because it was there, like buying landmarks and the sending assassins on missions, it just became something you did when passing by an icon on your map.
Other than that the normal creedy gameplay was alright.

i really liked the borgia towers in brotherhood, even though some of the 5 star ones were piss easy to destroy. glad to see they're expanding them into assassins dens in revelations.

i also loved the romulus crypts in brotherhood and the others like it in ac2. they were probably my fav areas in the games. hope to see more like them in revelations.

(I haven't player brotherhood) But the only really outlandish part I remember from 1 and 2 is the flying machine... Just saw he planted a bomb thing and then shot it, makes more sense. Still the Flame thrower, I guess I want to be more of an assassin than Duke Nukem style character.

well leonardo did design a flying machine. not sure if anyone has built it to see if it actually could fly.

the byzantines used flamethrowers like that on their war ships. revelations is set during the period after the byzantines were exiled from constantinople by the ottomans and im guessing they left some of their weaponry behind.

I stand correct, would never have thought the flamethrower had been around since approximately 673AD.

Finished brotherhood recently as well and also thought as above it was a really nice full blown game, eally enjoy these. I liked the borgia towers but am partial to the romulus areas, just too much jumpy s*** to do where it feels like im playing prince of persia
