What's with the Playstation branded TV though? lol. Bizarre.
Good price on the glasses though - $70 USD (compared to $100 USD for nVidia's glasses).
NBA on the move looks s***. Point the move controller, which looks like it has frustratingly little precision (compared to a mouse), in order to target who you need to pass to.

True. That has been way too long coming. Split-screen has killed side-by-side multiplayer since the dawn of time.
That Medievil Move looks pretty good for younger kids.

Also apparantly nintendo fixed the issue almost straight away.
EDIT - OH, this is also from their twitter. "Presenting Sony Computer Entertainment Developer Network source code" bad news sony?

Just that it means 'life' and it has a social context - two modes 'party' and 'near' for speaking with your friends via headset or inbuilt mic/speakers and setting up gameplay.
Uncharted demo was impressive, although the touch method of moving through the level, you might as well just watch a movie.
Ruin looks good. Other players setup lairs, you can attack or help other people. It's all saved to the cloud so you can pickup where you left off again.

Well it was always going to be console-only. They said that when they first announced it.
Saves me from having to pay for Xbox Live though.

Man these guys are heavy breathers. Vita ain't looking like anything I'm interested in. No price yet, games look generic as well. If it's gonna cost $300-$350, then I'd rather go get a damn PS3.

? Because he's Japanese? I didn't find him that hilarious.
Ruin looked like the best thing on offer on the Vita for my liking. I wouldn't buy a Vita though - suits daily PT commuters, uni students and high-school kids IMO. I'm D) None of the above.

$249 USD for the Wifi only model, $299 USD for the 3G model.

Hahah Easy tiger! Jeez, oversensitive towards race much? He was eccentric (even his shirt) and the audience agreed with the funny - unless they were laughing at the game? How's Aunty Flow's visit going? lol

Nah, I'm not claiming you are racist. I'm just saying he seemed like a pretty stereotypical Japanese gamer to me. Since we're watching a games presentation, I just don't see the funny part.
Yeah, I just ignore that Sprint vs. AT&T bulls*** (obviously irrelevant here anyway). To me it's like Holden vs. Ford and COD vs. Battlefield - artificially created conflicts to spur on consumers. It's all garbage.

Ah well, as long as it stays over there. Don't really see the business case for Sony to partner with any provider really - why not just make it so you can put in any SIM card with 3G? Just corporate politics as usual.

AT&T is on the 850Mhz spectrum, which is what Telstra NextG uses, so there's a chance they'll partner with Telstra over here. Saves them having to have different radios for different countries (unless it also supports 900Mhz/2100Mhz as well, then you could use it on whatever network you like).
Posted 02:22pm 07/6/11
There is very little short term advantage for hardware types to go with all providers when they can pitch all the massive US phone companies against each other in a bidding war for up-front cash to go with their network.
Or possibly, they're giving AT&T money to do nothing but pimp the product, but I can't see that being a realistic scenario - like the iPhone, if it's good enough, people will put up with any sort of s*** to get it, even signing up with AT&T.
