Tit, I don't think I can ever get over how funny that looks having "post by TiT". Should of made your username "a Tit".

Getting back to the game, will this actually have any sort of playerbase? I never thought fighting games went well on PC.

I don't know about this as another full release. Ying and Yang are meh. Oni and Evil Ryu are cool and all but is it worth it just for them, some character balances and an improved replay channel ? You'd think you'd be some sort of tournament player if you really cared about the nitty gritty balances alone. Probably worth it if you don't have Super SSF4. I still think it should be a DLC.

Fixah there has been no super street fighter for PC so i am guessing for the PC version they are just putting it all together... with PS3 and Xbox getting the DLC??

I think I spend more time looking for players on SFIV than actually playing. The code is totally s***house. I don't see them fixing it for this release.

Evil Ryu looks like some lame Akuma.

I doubt its anything to do with the code, its probably more that nobody is playing it.

Well that's what I thought consoles were for, fighting games and sports games.

I bought SFIV when it was first released, so unless only a couple of people in Australia were playing it after work - I find it hard to believe. Perhaps you're right - but considering you can only see 3 people waiting for a games at a time and have to keep refreshing, it's PAINFUL.

This game is actually going cheap for about $37 or so on console. If that's the case i'll be putting my order through. If anyone else is keen for a physical copy let me know. It's even cheaper for PC at $29.

Release date is on 24/06.

If SF bought in fatalities I'd start playing it

Fixah, is that Arcade Edition, or standard edition?
Why would a new release go for $37?

I'm tempted to get SSF4 on PS3, but I've heard it's s*** compared to on XBox360, which I don't own. And I've barely played NBA Jam since I bought it :(

Purchased for cheaper through Steam, thanks to owning SFIV already.

Don't you already own SSF4 though Fixah? You can just download AE as DLC for much cheaper

Arcade Edition. It's the actual title of the game. It's called Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, so effectively it is the standard edition :p

Why would a new release go for $37?
Because Capcom realise that people won't pay full price for a game that only includes limited new content over its predecessors. It's a great buy for those that haven't bought the earlier titles in the series.

I'm tempted to get SSF4 on PS3, but I've heard it's s*** compared to on XBox360, which I don't own.
As far as I know they're pretty much the same. Loading times might be slightly longer on PS3? nothing significant. Oh and online play will always be better on the 360, but I don't wann open up the flood gates on that :p

Super Street Fighter 4 for PS3 is going for around $23 delivered.

really? I didn't know that. I thought it was only being released on physical media. Otherwise DLC would be the better option for sure.

Holy crap, it's not a mistake and Capcom got some sense!?
Might go preorder now, just do the same pay and forget thing with this. Already got OOT for 3DS on preorder, it'll arrive when it arrives.

And yeah, it's only cos of the 3DS version that got me back in to liking this, have sunk way more hours into SSF4 than Lego Star Wars, Pilotwings and Rayman combined.

Yeah, SSF4 was also similarly priced, so Kudos to Capcom for that. But since the AE is being released as a DLC which you'll get it cheaper and earlier, then there's no 2 ways about it innit.

Evil Ryu looks killah!

Where did you see it for $37? It's USD39 on Steam for PC, and JB have it at $69 for pre-order.
