The Creative Assembly in Horsham, West Sussex (UK) held a press event yesterday revealing they're working on a "core" Alien game for consoles (no mention of PC, but it's CA, so we can assume it will be on PC), and that they're currently hiring for the project.

SEGA released the hotly anticipated, yet poorly received, Aliens Vs Predator last year, while Gearbox Games have been quietly working on their Aliens: Colonial Marines title for quite some time, leaving this project entirely new in the license. Apparently we won't see anything of it at E3, as reported by Eurogamer, though the game has been in development for a while.

We'll do some digging and let you know if we can drum up any more info.

nice, while it doesn't say anything about it being anything to do with AvP, if it has this library chess scenario as a mini-game that would be soooooooo cool. ;)
