Over the weekend, Rockstar Games released a new bunch of screenshots from the upcoming Max Payne 3.

Initially exclusive to a single print publication (yep, publishers still think that's worthwhile exposure), the seven new images paint a much better picture of actual in-game action than has been revealed in previous images. Click the thumbnails below to view the complete gallery.

Max Payne 3 was originally scheduled for a 2009 release, then was pushed back to 2011 and currently no longer has fixed date. The game is still in the works for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and you can find an updated fact-sheet and feature list here on AusGamers.

Most of them don't quite look like what I think of when someone mentions Max Payne. It actually reminds me of Kane and Lynch 2.
Still too early for me to speak ill of MP3 at all, especially since I really enjoyed the first two.
