During the break Obsidian and Bethesda let loose a much-needed patch for Fallout: New Vegas, first for the Pc and soon to follow on the consoles.

According to the Steam listing, the patch addresses a number of balancing issues, including guns, and in some cases even changes the overall use of a weapon, prompting the idea of extended playthroughs. Unfortunately there's no mention of the patch extending the same need for an open ending like Fallout 3, leaving players who've finished the game still locked out of DLC potential (or just wandering the Wastes potential), and having to load earlier saves in order to continue to enjoy all the game has to offer.

I've been playing this game a lot reciently, clocking up over 20 hours in the past few days. Still a fun ass game with a few mods added like the realistic headshots mod which lets you kill nearly anything with 1 HS. Thing is the enemy also gets this and can 1 shot you.

I also bought the hard cover, 460 page guide for it as well. Havn't bought one of these since I was in grade 3 or 4 and the MK2 one came out. Man that thing was kick ass.
