There's nothing ultimately official from the Western end of Capcom, but according to Japanese-to-English gaming blog, Andriasang, the latest issue of Famitsu gaming magazine in Japan makes mentioned of a new Resi title to be released in Japan on PS3 and Xbox 360, called Resident Evil Revival Selection, which it turns out is HD remasterings of the highly acclaimed Resident Evil 4 and the not-so-successful, but equally praised, Resident Evil: Code Veronica (which appeared on the Dreamcast).

Moreover, it appears the Resident Evil 4 update will include all the extra modes that appeared throughout its scandalous life among various platforms, from GameCube in 2005 to PC and Wii in 2007.

This is awesome news for those of us who hold both in games in high regard. Personally, Resident Evil 4 is among the greatest action titles I've ever played. We'll have more on this tantalising news as it becomes available.

I loved Code: Veronica back when it came out and I was playing it on the good old Dreamcast, but that was like 10 years ago, I'm not sure it will have aged so well (and I don't mean in the graphical sense). But yeah, it was pretty awesome, was the first time they introduced bad-ass augmented Wesker. I'm such a Wesker fanboy.

I loved RE4, so I'd be keen to see what they do with that. Never played Code Veronica though.
