In an almost universe shattering way, the point of contention mentioned in the post below regarding ye olde days of free content for the PC has been given an exampled nod in the form of a free update arriving for Dawn of War II: Retribution; serving up new content for its multiplayer mode, Last Stand.
The Last Stand, the game’s co-operative survival mode, will be getting an additional twelve new Steam achievements. Unlocking each achievement will grant a new piece of wargear, giving the player even more options when equipping their hero.
So there you have it, a PC developer serving the PC market as it was always meant to be served. This is definitely the year PC gaming takes back its place and stance in the industry.
