3DS Legend of Zelda Will Include Master Quest

For fans of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time who're eagerly anticipating the game's resurfacing on the Nintendo 3DS platform in, you guessed it, 3D, Joystiq points out that a Nintendo of America rep at GDC last week revealed the game would also include Master Quest mode alongside the original game.

For those unaware, Master Quest was a pre-order bonus for The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and essentially featured tougher dungeons, reworked puzzles and more challenging enemies.

All we need to hear now is that they've also snuck in the whole of Majora's Mask and that package would be complete.

I never actually played Occarina of Time, so this could be a game I actually want on 3DS. Is it going to be a launch title here? Or come out soon after launch? Or is it some time off in the hazy future?

Master Quest was lame, Majora's Mask would be a far more interesting addition.

Ah nice, not too much of a wait then. Still looking for a reason to justify buying a 3DS at launch though, the geek in me really wants one cos its a cool new gadget but none of the launch titles sound very interesting :(

I'm going to see Top Gear Live this friday anyway and apparently they'll have some 3DS setup there that can be played, so at least I'll get a look at it. Maybe once I actually get my hands on one and see all its 3d magic at work I wont be able to resist.

Even without any games, you can still take 3D photos of your junk and show them to people. Can you really put a price on that kind of value?

I was in the same boat, but I saw that JB HiFi has them for $298 if you pre-order, where everyone else has them for $350 (as will JB after it launches). I figured I was going to get one anyway, so I might as well get it while it's cheaper.
