AusGamers was recently given the opportunity to play an early demo of Dungeon Siege III, running on PC for just over an hour and we walked away with some mighty nice impressions, and given this latest entry in the series is being handled by the hot and cold Obsidian, that can only be a good thing.

So, for the action/RPG dungeon-crawling junkies out there craving major loot-dops, it looks like this team (who are being overseen by Chris Taylor) might have a cure for what ails you. Not a Torchlight person? Don't think Diablo III is ever going to be release? Dungeon Siege III is just what you've been waiting for.

Played Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 and enjoyed both. By the sounds of your preview I will also enjoy number 3 in the series.

Good thing with 1 and 2 was no set classes. You start using your sword a lot and you become a warrior. Use a bow a lot your now an archer. Magic? A Magician. Same for everyone joining you. Even if they are set up as a magic user/swordsman etc you can convert them just by changing what they do.
