Sony's PlayStation App has finally hit the Android and iPhone/iPad/iPod platforms and allows users to log in using their PlayStation Network login ID where they can then peruse friends, thumb through Trophies and check up on the latest news from PlayStation Blog.

It's not a lot yet, but Sony are promising there will be much more to roll out and that this, for all intents and purposes, is just the beginning and their commitment to expanding their UI for customers worldwide.

The App itself is free, and apparently in the not-too-distant future you'll be able to comment on news items and interact with friends more.

Gay.

I was hoping I would be able to get games from the PSN store and play FFVII on my iPhone. Honestly; if I could play FFVII on my iPhone I would die of happiness.
