It's a rather slow news day today on account of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. However, the PR wheels were still rolling in Europe and Asia though and Crytek have announced their latest project: an online free-to-play shooter called Warface.
Developed at Crytek Seoul, Warface is powered by the impressive CryEngine 3 tech but appears to be only targetted at the South Korean audience for the time being.
Warface provides gamers with a constantly updated extensive PVE universe full of dramatic multiplayer co-op missions, a full set of class based PVP and will be available for PC. This new Crytek IP is especially dedicated to the Korean and other Asian markets and is co-produced by Crytek Seoul. Warface is supported by a free-to-play business model.
Whether we'll see this one in Australia, or the Western market at all for that matter likely depends on its success in asia.

No real skill is needed and always harbours a really unfriendly online community even if it is popular.
Give us something new and different developers!

But I'd imagine it will be quite a nice looking game comparitive to other free shooters currently available if its running cryengine 3.
