Ahead of its 2011 release, Sony's user-generated content-focused series, LittleBigPlanet 2, will see a demo hitting the PlayStation Network December 21st, showing off the sequel's Story Mode (or at least some of it), while December 11 also sees the arrival of a stand-alone Sackboy PSN game called Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves.

The latter will set players back less than $10, but if you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, and also plan on buying LBP2, it's free. But, you'll need a PlayStation Eye, Move Controller and regular PS3 controller in order to play the multiplayer-centric release.

LittleBigPlanet 2 is due January 18, 2011.

Question for the PS3 users - when there's a PS3 demo like this, is it available for ever? Or only for a limited window?

Other games, demo's have been available permanently. On PSN, they have categories, then the games in those categories, click on the game and it'll display everything associated with that game, e.g. demo, dlc, theme's, videos, full game purchase in some cases etc.

It's similar. But it can be a pain in the ass trying to find said dlc, demo etc.
some stuff isn't grouped together, like mw2 demo and dlc. you have to go searching for it, and I might add psn has no search ><
