THQ's foray into the modern shooter epic (or future, in their case), Homefront, has gained some serious momentum since the publisher gave press, AusGamers included, hands-on access to both the single-player and multiplayer, revealing a gritty, dystopian world wrought with feasible danger, despair and dread.

Today we have a release date for the game, which will see it rocking North America on March 8, 2011. Europe get it on March 11, while Australia rests in the middle with March 10, 2011.
