While trouncing the halls of BlizzCon today, I happened across some as yet unknown information regarding Activision's forthcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops. Turns out Australia's own Sammy Worthington has supplied the voice for the game's main character, Mason.

While Activision have yet to reveal this (ergo, it's not official), we're pretty sure the info is reliable, and Worthington is definitely a pretty good fit for the role. The Call of Duty games are renowned for pulling in the big guns, with Treyarch's previous title casting on board Kiefer Sutherland and Gary Oldman.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is due to release November 9.

I heard Gary Oldman was returning to black ops reprising his character. Sorta like Infinity Ward did with Price with every cod game.

Gabby, zombies are 100% back, and Jim, on that part I can't say... I'd make the assumption it'll be american though

I think the aussie accent would be pretty cool regardless the characters' supposed nationality

PS: Sam ROCKS!!!

He's good at Terminator roles - you know, emotionless, boring, drone-type things. Or being mapped onto alien CG characters that don't exhibit any humanity anyway. Not sure how he'd go playing a human tho
