LucasArts have revealed the date they'll be dropping the previously announced demo for their forthcoming Episode III and IV bridge, The Force Unleashed II.

The demo will be landing on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network this October 12, ahead of the game's end-of-month release, but there's no info on whether it would be hitting Steam for the PC crowd at all.

The game is due to release on a host of platforms, PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS this October 29 and continues the saga of the much loved apprentice, Starkiller. Check out our last interview with LucasArts' Brett Rector for more on the game.

Bought the first game off steam while it was on special ($7.50 woo hoo!). But i think I'd have to say that it was one of my most frustrating PC experiences ever! Controls are the worst, a section involving a Star Destroyer in particular. Granted something like this should probably be played with a controller sure, but i still think it deserves to be said that it was a horrible port. Besides the controls, it was buggy as hell (multiple sound problems [some levels the sound doesn't even work]) and the targeting system blows.
Won't be wasting an ounce of download allowance on this one! Mores the pity, this one had such good potential.

It was a s*** port, but an alright game overall, and they're designing the PC version as a launch this time.

Might download the PS3 demo, I'm a bit of a fanboy.

The fact that I love all things Star Wars was the driving force behind my finishing the game, (fanboy also i suppose!) so i could probably agree with you on 'alright' haha

Proper PC version sounds good, might take a look at it if that's the case.
