As promised, here's our video interview with legendary music game creator (he also worked on SEGA Rally FYI), Tetsuya Mizuguchi, talking about - among other things - his latest creation, Child of Eden.

He also talks about projecting Al Gore as a hologram, and turning his own concept music group, built for his game design goals, into a fully touring act that is actually massively popular. Of course we do ask about his inspirations, plans for the future and what drives him as a creator.

As usual, we've also supplied the video with a full transcript that is as close to verbatim as possible; context insets have been added to keep it flowing though.

nah, it's like a shooter; imagine galaga in 3D spiralling through psychedelic levels where your firing actions affect the tempo of the music; it's about getting a good rhythm as you play through - very unique and actually pretty hard
