For Fallout fans counting the days before we have New Vegas, Bethesda have shot through a new trailer showcasing the direction Obsidian have taken elements such as technology and weapons, with a fantastical 50s-inspired future world with which to play with.

They reveal elements about the classic 'ray gun' and how they worked that more cohesively into the game than in Fallout 3, as well as give details on a few new weapons, including a pistol that shoots rifle rounds. Equally, in the sound department, they talk about utilising the vast, open spaces of the desert in which the game is set and just how they approached background noises to properly reflect that while also delving into the game's soundtrack.
