Neverwinter is coming back (which is a shame, because I love winter), in the hands of Cryptic Studios, Atari and R.A. Salvatore, exclusively for the PC and alongside a new trilogy of books and Wizards of the Coast table top trading card game. The game is an online experience, though not much more is revealed.
In Neverwinter, players choose to become one of five classic D&D classes and team up with friends or computer-controlled allies to form five-person co-op groups. Players also create their own storylines and quests utilizing an extremely user-friendly content generation system, tentatively codenamed Forge.
According to the press release, the game will be made available as an online co-op experience in Q4, 2011 and will be prefaced by the first Salvatore book, Gauntlgrym (October 5). We have no art or any other info, but stay tuned.

Hmmm. I don't trust Cryptic Studios. Just had bad experience with their rushed and s***** MMO's.

I really liked the first one. Too bad I'm horrible at rpg's/stat management. Wasn't the second one simply the first with a few added features and horrible camera angels?
