LucasArts have confirmed there will be a demo for
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II ahead of the game's October 26 release date.
Despite reports of a host of problems internally at LucasArts (Haden Blackman
up and left the project and his employer just under a month ago. He'd been with Lucas for 13 years), apparently due to the company's new president, Paul Meegan (via
Kotaku), the game is still on track and will be offered as a demo prior to release,
Joystiq reported. Apparently the demo will be the Kamino escape we've seen so much of at the start of the game. There's no word of release date or platform though, so stay tuned.
AusGamers has had some extensive time with LucasArts, speaking to two of the game's producers,
Julio Torres and
Brett Rector.
