Warner Bors. Interactive have finally lifted more of the veil on the Rocksteady-developed sequel to the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum, now called Batman: Arkham City.
Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.

Oddly enough, I dusted this Arkham Asylum off last night and played the Challenge Modes for a while, not even knowing this announcement was coming - I want to know more now!!!

the artwork so far is telling me they're keeping it well in line with the tone of the first, if perhaps a little darker

I got my hands on the first one about a fortnight ago and just finished playing through last weekend. Don't know why it took me so long to play it but it was awesome. Nice to know I might not have to wait too long to play the sequel.

yeah i recall them saying they wanted to make this game alot darker than the first.

i really feel like replaying the game, especially after watching a speed run the other day. the person clocked it in a little over 2 hrs.
