Oddly enough, I dusted this Arkham Asylum off last night and played the Challenge Modes for a while, not even knowing this announcement was coming - I want to know more now!!!

the artwork so far is telling me they're keeping it well in line with the tone of the first, if perhaps a little darker

I got my hands on the first one about a fortnight ago and just finished playing through last weekend. Don't know why it took me so long to play it but it was awesome. Nice to know I might not have to wait too long to play the sequel.

yeah i recall them saying they wanted to make this game alot darker than the first.

""There's a very complicated cast," said Conroy, attempting to recover from the accidental reveal. "A lot of villains are in it. I'll just leave it at that!"

Arkham Asylum 2 will also be "really, really dark" Controy said, comparing it to fan-favorite animated film Return of the Joker."
