Ahead of next weeks annual San Diego Comic-Con event, Ubisoft have revealed that a mini-series of new Assassin's Creed tales are soon to be told in graphic novel form.
Developed by Eisner Award nominees and Shuster Award-winning illustrators Cameron Stewart (Batman & Robin, Seaguy and Catwoman) and Karl Kerschl (Superman and The Flash), the Assassins Creed comic mini-series will be unveiled during a panel to be held on July 22, 2010 at Comic-Con International: San Diego.
The teaser trailer that you can watch here on AusGamers, suggests that this won't be a return to Altiair or Ezio, but a new character in the Assassin's lineage, that appears to hale from Russia and perhaps have some involvement in the mysterious happenings at Lake Baikal in Siberia.

No other information is available at this stage, only that it's due for release this Autumn (U.S. Spring 2010).
